I don't know why it wouldn't work.  They're the ones who said they "haven't solved that yet".  That kind of implies that there's something to solve...

I imagine they wouldn't care enough since the 2DS is supposedly targeted towards another market.

Still, pretty dumb I must say.

I didn't even think about the shoulder buttons. That's going to be awful for a six year old's hand.
My Blog - It's about gaming stuff. You can read it if you want. No pressure. I mean, there's a link there you just have to click on, but... y'know... whatever.

They'll survive. Remember that an entire generation of kids played with NES controllers.

Well, they're supposed to extend pretty far down the sides and you can press them from the side, rather than having to get your hands over the top of the unit.

In my vision, I see that one of us is going to KO the other.

The fun thing is that their current shop model sort of contributes to piracy, in the sense that there's huge impetus for people to figure out how to circumvent the DRM so thye can backup/move their legitimately purchased games, since there's no other way to do that -- but then obviously these methods burble out and get picked up for less-than-kosher purposes.

Well, I'm just stating that people were fine even before controller ergonomics were a thing.

Truthfully, violin and piano destroyed my hands more than any game controller or portable console.
