It's fun watching the Xseed forums go nuts.

I'll be really, really disappointed if we don't get the PS3 versions.

I avoid online multiplayer because my brain still works.

I'll Take any SC we can get at this point. Gladly screaming yes in the house, while everyone looks and wonders wtf is wrong with me.

I dared to hope that this would be the game they were teasing...then I saw tweets sort of confirming it.

All I can say is.

Yes. Shut up and take my money. I will boot camp my Mac if I have need to in order to play this on a Windows Platform.

I was dreading finishing Trails in the Sky because I knew there wouldn't be a sequel readily available. Now I can rest knowing otherwise!

Well, now I have a dilemma.  I own TitS on PSP.  Physical copy.  I want to link a playthrough from 1 to 2.  I am also planning on buying a Vita in 2014.  My options:

-Buy 2nd Chapter on PSN, play it on my PSP.  Move it to Vita later when I eventually get one.
-Buy TitS on Steam, replay it, buy 2nd Chapter on Steam, play that.
-Buy a TitS on Vita, replay it, buy 2nd Chapter on Vita, play that.

Right now leaning towards option 1, honestly.  Option 3 will probably happen eventually, but a year or two down the line when I want to replay all of them.

...does anyone know if XSEED has their PSN games on sale often?

Monsoon: I am pretty sure the "Vita" version is just the PSP version playable on Vita.  You can transfer your save files from your PSP to the Vita if that's the case.

Can someone help me understand these games?

What order are they supposed to be played through?
With this one, will they all be on Steam?

Huh, I thought that transferring save files wasn't an option.  In that case, decision made.

The first TitS will be on Steam later this year.  The second one will be on PSN and Steam in 2014.

The earlier Legend of Heroes games are in a weird order in their Western releases and my recommendation... is not to play any of them.  The PSP versions of LoH 1 through 3 (which I think are actually 3 through 5?) are bad.  Just play Trails in the Sky, as it's the first chapter in a new saga, and then wait for the second chapter to come out next year.

The original LOH games are not bad. They were just unfortunate to suffer one of the worst translation jobs ever.  Dat Engrish, the horror.
