Windows Program for PDFs
« on: September 16, 2013, 05:44:21 PM »
The standard Win8 PDF Reader is balls.

I need something with editing capabilities; to crop and add footnotes (priority on the cropping bit though).\

Anyone know any?  Paid or, of course preferably, free?

I'm sure you have Photoshop and you can mess around PDFs with it.
Then "Save as" Photoshop PDF, which is for all intents, just a PDF.

Probably not =/ unless you take the hassle of doing every page solo and then using something else to bunch them up together.

Anyone know something that isn't Adobe Acrobat?

I hate this, what I call, "Modern-Family" design that works like a computer-version of a tablet that works great for all of your social networking and sharing needs.

HEY GUYS, THIS IS WINDOWS 8.

I'm a fan of Foxit pdf reader.  Pretty sure they have an editor as well... but I don't know for sure.

Primo PDF is a good "print to pdf" solution if something you have doesn't do that.

Why not "upgrade" to 7, or switch it out for a Linux distro? I personally never bothered with 8, for the reasons you guys have stated.
