For reference: The only other time Peach has ever officially donned Fire Powa' was in the Super Mario Bros. Super Show. I even believe the color scheme was similar to the one used here.

I'm very intrigued as to how this controls. At times it looks like Mario is running freely but in the more isometric and traditional left-to-right levels he seems to be "snapped" to a plane and is moving very perfectly in one direction. I wonder if there's some sort of helper function to help keep him on course in levels that aren't totally free roam

As an aside, how is the 3ds version?

I'm not a huge fan of platformers, but there's only one place I know of that sells English 3DS games here, so choices are limited.

Liked it, didn't love it. Though that's how I've felt about all Mario platformers for the past few years.

And so Nintendo has gone back to hiding Mario Luigi Bros. games in their Super Mario games.

Man everything I've seen about this game screams "shaddap, sit down, and have a lot of fun playing a game."

Not only is this game lovely it looks like it's packed with content. I'm also a fan of the fact that the music seems to be distancing itself from the gut-wrenching vocal "baaahhh-bop!"s from New Mario Bros
