The song in the trailer is by a band called 65daysofstatic and I bought the album that's on (We Were Exploding Anyway).

Listened to it at the gym today and it's solid, if you're into that sort of thing.

actually thanks for this :D

I would be much more interested if it wasn't an MMO, but I still hope this ambition project succeeds.

Good news, it's not an MMO.

It's a shared universe between players, but you won't ever meet a player.
Meaning the more every player explores, the bigger the universe gets for everyone.
Great to hear, consider me on board.

I didn't realize that the music was by 65daysofstatic, so thanks for the tip. I remember listening to them a few years back when I had a instrumental-'rock' binge. They have some killer tracks, but it's been ages since I listened to them. Would love it if the soundtrack actually was something along those lines.

Pretty excited for this game, though I'm still not really sure how exactly it will play.
I love how they show the percentrage composition of the atmosphere in a little box as you are exploring places, and that it's not actually completely bonkers (the planet with wildlife closely resembling earth has 70% nitrogen etc.) Wonder if that's something that is elaborated upon further, because it could be pretty neat.
Also digging the giant snake thing. :D
And the pretty pretty colours

This looks cool but my problem with games that are "PROC GEN EVERYTHING" is that you basically have two kinds of developers:

1 - Those that take procedural generation as an easy out for creating huge game worlds without the awareness of the kind of detail you need to put into your generation algorithms, AI, etc. so that you can generate something that's actually fun to explore and surprising.

2 - I forgot where I was going with this.

Also anyone remember Noctis?
