1. Disgaea 3 Absence of Detention
2. Bravely Default
3. Attack of the Friday Monsters! A Tokyo Tale
4. The Walking Dead (Season 1)
5. SMT IV
6. DanganRonpa
7. Rune Factory 4
8. Cafe 0
9. Thomas Was Alone
10. To The Moon

1. Disgaea 3 Absence of Detention: Typical Disgaea goodness.

2. Bravely Default: Loved this game, second half and all. Really liked how most difficult fights could be easily handled with the right strategies.

3. AotFM: I liked it but nowhere near as much as others did.

4 The Walking Dead (Season 1): Really enjoyed this. It did feel like none of my choices mattered in the grand scheme of things but it was still great. Definitely getting Season 2 once all episodes are out.

5. SMT IV: I really liked it and it is one of my favourite 3DS games to date yet I can't help feeling that I had more fun with Strange Journey. They handled the dungeons well. I was worried since as the dungeons were seen in third person, that it might have been similar to those in Persona 3 or 4. Thankfully they were not. Love the Persona series but the dungeons were not that fun to explore in 3 or 4. Only real complaint with SMT IV were domains. The bosses were fun but exploring them was no fun at all. Being identical in design to one another didn't help either.

6. DangenRonpa:  Fun game. It did like to cram the culprit of most cases down your throat but it was a fun ride. Looking forward to number 2.

7. Rune Factory 4: ~<3 Porcoline <3~

8 Cafe 0 The Drowned Mermaid:  Finished the two happy routes first and thought it was pretty average. It really improved after that though with the last three paths getting pretty crazy.

9. Thomas Was Alone: The characters are great and really make you care about the game. Don't think I would have finished it if it just had the puzzles.

10. To The Moon: Bought a bundle for this game alone and was not disappointed. Short game but making it longer would have lessened the experience.

Just beat Bravely Default. I absolutely adored the first half of the game, and found myself slowly hating the second half. Well, maybe hate is a strong word, but it was like a joke that was less funny the more you heard it. Still, it was a solid game despite that second half.

1. Final Fantasy XIII-2
2. Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII
3. Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition
4. Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls
5. Final Fantasy II
6. Parasite Eve (forgot to add this in last year's thread)
7. Bravely Default

A few new ones to add:

8. Amnesia: The Dark Descent - I really don't have good composure for horror games, but I felt like this one managed to improve it (like training!) I was able to withstand longer and longer sessions without quitting. I loved the lite puzzles in the game, though I did have to peek at a walkthrough twice. Once in the study where you have to break a window, and again when you have to fix that machine by accessing a trap door on the ceiling.

9. Edna & Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes - Been avoiding Daedalic stuff for a while, can't remember why. I loved the writing in this one though, and I was happy to see a point and click adventure game with "mini-games"

10. Lego Marvel Super Heroes - I was impressed with myself on this one. I decided I was finished with the game at 60% instead of 100%. The main scenario only accounts for about 15-20% of the game, so I still played around afterward for quite a while. I've realized this has been my downfall over the past few years.

With my PS2 games I would just play through a game normally and finish it, then move on to the next one. When I ran out of things to play, I would play through a game I really liked again to try and get everything. There are still games on the PS2 that I'd love to go back to and get 100%, but I don't consider those part of my backlog.

Meanwhile, I've suddenly become obsessed with finishing everything with absolute completion, and that's a big part of the reason why I have so many games I haven't even touched.

Adding Lego LOTR to the list.

1. Final Fantasy XIII-2
2. Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII
3. Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition
4. Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls
5. Final Fantasy II
6. Parasite Eve (forgot to add this in last year's thread)
7. Bravely Default
8. Lego Lord of the Rings

Beat Lego LOTR yesterday, overall it has it's charms, but there is a ton of stuff to collect and a bunch of characters to buy. I won't be going through and trying to 100% everything in this one unfortunately. Also, it really seems to make my blu-ray laser churn on the PS3, so I figure the less I play it the better.

1.   Kenka Bancho Badass Rumble
2.   Everlove
3.   Tiger Eye:  The Sacrifice
4.   Ys:  Oath in Felghana
5.   Brothers:  A Tale of Two Sons
6.   Shadow of Destiny
7.   Metro:  Last Light
8.   Lost Horizon
9.   Botanicula
10. Ys Seven
11. Thief
12. CSI:  Unsolved!
13. The Room
14. Little Inferno
15. Scar of Doll
16. 999 ios version (all endings)
17. The Devil's Attorney
18. The Secret of Chateau de Moreau
19.  The Year Walk
20. Imaginary Range episode 2
21. Black Bar
22. Mirror's  Edge (ios)
23. Fate/Extra
24. Cabin Escape
25. Jacob Jones ep. 1
26. Regency Love
27. Layton Brothers: Mystery Room
28. A New Beginning
29. Tales of the World:  Radiant Mythology
30. Shivah

29.  For a game consisting of guild quest I surprisingly had fun.  It is great seeing familiar faces and some new ones.  Only thing was the Tales characters often remained so under leveled compared to me I had to use the generic party members for some quests.  Well for that reason and because they would often refuse me even though we were good friends.  The whole kill X numbers of enemies, craft this, and find so and so got old after a while.  But by then I was leveled up enough to beat it no problem.

30.  Good game but it seemed way too short.

1. Disgaea 4
2. The Guided Fate Paradox
3. Puzzle Quest 2
4. Puzzle Quest: Galactrix
5. Ys: Memories of Celceta
6. Danganronpa
7. Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God
8. Atelier Escha & Logy
9. The Starship Damrey
10. Attack of the Friday Monsters!
11. The Witch and the Hundred Knight
12. Professor Layton and the Spectre's Call
13. Lost Odyssey
14. Wakedas
15. Magical Starsign

And with the new additions:
16. Etrian Odyssey Untold
17. Mugen Souls Z

Etrian Odyssey Untold was tons of fun, just like always. The extra content made it almost feel like a new game.

Mugen Souls Z was... okayish. I liked the running around and conquering planets. Simple but fun. Battle system was pretty good, but would have been better if some (unneccesary) parts were less complicated. Story and characters were stupid as hell though. I get what they're going for and I have to admit I laughed a few times, but repeating the same (already insanely lame) joke over and over and over does not a funny game make. Characters also suffered from the same compulsive reacting as the Golden Sun guys. I'm not going to attempt post-game stuff because that part of the game is all crashy and freezy.

Haven't really had time to game as much as I used to, still have a bunch of games on the go but I did beat Broken Sword 5 over the weekend.

1. Final Fantasy XIII-2
2. Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII
3. Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition
4. Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls
5. Final Fantasy II
6. Parasite Eve (forgot to add this in last year's thread)
7. Bravely Default
8. Lego Lord of the Rings
9. Broken Sword 5: The Serpent's Curse

BS5 felt every bit a BS game as it's earlier games. The first part was very well done, the second part had a bit of a drop off, but still good. No real puzzles that made you go "how was I supposed to figure that out?!". I guess the departure from the whole Templar theme was inevitable considering how mainstream it has gotten due to the Da Vinci Code, though I felt Nico was under utilized in the game. Oh well, still a very solid adventure game to spend ~12 hours on.

Now, just need to find time to beat DQ8, DQV and Divine Divinity: Original Sin.

Transformers - Battle for Cybertron
Medal of Honor
DmC
Southpark: Stick of Truth
F.E.A.R.

Felt like more, but now that I put it on "paper" it really doesn't seem like much. I also may have cheated because I'm not completely sure when I beat the firs two, may have been late last year, time's been flying by rather quickly lately.

9. Broken Sword 5: The Serpent's Curse
10. Long Live the Queen

Picked up Long Live the Queen as I saw a random article about it on Kotaku the other day. Totally reminiscent of Princess Maker, thought is is a bit more streamlined and simplified. A bit more emphasis on the story, and the game play is fairly short. It got me thinking if there were any more games like this, but none of the others ones on the developers site looked very good in terms of appealing art style to me. Overall, a pretty fun little game.

14. Dragon Age: Origins: Awakening (SUBTITLES!)
15. Retro Game Challenge
16. Batman: Arkham City

I think beating 30 on the year is doable.  Mostly I want to cut into my RPG backlog a bit, though.  Next is probably Persona 2: Innocent Sin.  Probably.  Something else might distract me first.
