I would suggest the banning of Stealth Rock for just the Flying Gym but allow it for all the others.

Ah, yes. Stealth Rock would hurt a Flying gym badly.

If everything is going as planned, the standings are as follows:

Water (Nallo)
Grass (Starmongoose)
Poison (Wild Armor)
Flying (Hathen)
Dark (????)

I could totally switch to a Fairy gym and not have to waste any time because I already HAVE those Pokemon. Really, if you want Grass, I will give it to ya. :D

Eh, don't worry about it, I'll stick to flying. It's just that one Pokemon I like using, didn't really have an entire grass team in mind or anything.

Also I guess I'd need to test run it a little but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't mind stealth rocks, there's multiple ways to deal with that.

oh right it allows me to also use my favorite on my team and not have to ask you to waste hours of effort har har

Also I pick Flying before somebody else takes another type I want. =P

How are we going to decide who's the gym leader and who's the Elite Four? Maybe all the leader-candidates should fight each other first.

I figured we would get to that when we got enough people on board to make this work. I'm thinking of a possible rotation schematic? It's all a work in progress! Any ideas kind sir?

What is special about being an Elite Four member? I gather it means the Challenger has to defeat all four members, and a loss at any point means they have to start over?

Kickass idea! Think there should be some sort of waiting period between challenges?

I say, Gym Leaders should having a waiting period, but Elite Four should be able to be challenged if availiable.

My reasoning being, for badges you only need one person to be available, but the Elite Four will probably take longer, and the wait between the first member you challenge the last member you challenge could be significant enough already.

What happens if you lose to the E4? You lose all your badges, or maybe two random ones are selected?

Well, I figured it would just be like the games. You lose, you "white out" and have to face the Elite Four over again.

Although losing badges keeps Gym leaders relevant later on. Hmm. Worth some thought.

How should we handle champions? Luke if you beat the elite 4, but then lose to the champion?

So, is the Champion the first person who beats the Elite Four? And then whoever beats the Champion becomes the new Champion?

I figure it should just be like the games, the Champion is the last hurdle, defended by the Elite Four. A loss to the champion means they have to battle the Elite Four once more.

As for "Who is the Elite Four", perhaps they should be picked by the Champion.

I like it. This would keep it from getting stale.

If the demand is big enough (hopeful thinking) we could even expand to different regions. That may be Over Shooting it at the moment.
