I know some folks used to be hardcore DAoC players here. Hi, Dade.
Anyway, the roundtable is next month, and I'll be going to meet Mythic folks again this year. Does anyone have any questions or such?

1) With the savage drop in the poplulations of most every MMO and the rising success of World of Warcraft, how do you plan on recapturing many of the former players and NEW players back into the world of Camelot?
2) We've seen that MMO's can run relatively easily with very good looking graphics, keeping a stable connection to the servers, and keep framerates up....do you plan on updating much of the asthetics of DAoC, or more focus on the content and gameplay?
3) Does Mythic Entertainment have a longterm plan for DAoC? Or is the plan to keep it around until Warhammer goes live, and then dial it back and try to migrate the existing community into a newer game?
Those are my only questions that really jump out at me...but I'm sure after sitting down and thinking about it for a day or two I'll have at least a half dozen.

Does anyone care?
That update John made was awesome because it gave a lot of insight into how Mythic plans on keeping DAoC alive....but.....is it even alive to bother with?
How many people on the boards other than Dagg and me have even given DAoC a glance in the past three-four years?

Ive always thought about playing again, used to play right around when Trials came out, and had a great time. Though now, with it being so old..I dunno if it be worth it to start up. Plus I tried the trial a bit back, and it seemed a little..laggy compared to what I remember. Ill have to find that article john wrote and read it.

Plus, the 5th anniversary box of the game comes out today, which has all of the expansions.
