Known Issue:

http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/61026/known-issue-unable-to-zoom-into-character-s-face-during-creation#latest

Hi everyone!

We understand that some of you are having issues zooming into your character's face during character creation. The team is aware, and are working on a fix. As a temporary workaround, you can create a throwaway character, then create a second character where you should be able to zoom into his/her face.

Just remember not to redeem any of your Imperial Edition or Explorer's Pack items with your throwaway character!

ESO = crack.

Less gear/level obsessed than other recent MMOs, much more story/lore focused. It's very easy to spend an entire day off wandering around chatting, reading, and collecting crafting mats.

Hello, yes I've been enjoying it so far, graphics are amazing in it and it doesn't stress my video card at all...Theres the usual launch issues of course.  I got my physical Imperial edition, had some issues putting the statue together and the base wasn't made flat but got those bugs worked out. I'll have to see though after these 30 free days if I want to keep on playing...

I guess we're the only two playing this lol. As of late, per normal mmo launch, there's been alot of bugged quests and other issues that have been popping up. Best to wait a bit till they roll out some patches to clear up some of this stuff.

The art book and statue in the Imperial edition are beautiful, although theres been some issues there too with broken parts and the statue not fitting together right. If you have any issues a TESO rep has posted to contact customerservice@gamingheads.com. Mine was pretty hard to press together and the base was concaved out pretty bad which they said to fix by putting felt shims under it. It worked kinda...

You know, I never understood the way new MMO's do their free trials. You still have to buy the game to get the free trial, so it's not so much a "free trial" as it is a "grace period as a way of saying thanks for buying the game."

What I'm trying to say is as much as I love MMO's, I don't have enough confidence that I'd enjoy this one to gamble $60 on it.
My Blog - It's about gaming stuff. You can read it if you want. No pressure. I mean, there's a link there you just have to click on, but... y'know... whatever.

Most games don't have demos anymore, so you're gambling $60 on any game you purchase.

I know, I was just observing that all these MMO's including a "free trial" advertised as such is a bit of a misdirection.

Haha, I don't think you're alone. It's a shame it's already fallen into obscurity. I didn't like it much, but I'm sure there are plenty who did.
