Seems we will see a return of this game... Maybe the secret level 5 game...

They could also be releasing Dark Cloud 1+2 as classics. Not getting my hopes up.

Sounds like a win/win to me. I know it's not a popular opinion on these boards, but I love me some Level 5 RPGs.

I agree.  I don't mind a replay of an old classic. :D

I would be fine with this. Only level 5 games I didn't get to. I love me some Level 5 too.

Level 5 is overrated.

This is true, but this overrating didn't happen until quite a while after Dark Cloud 2.  Which for a long time was my favorite game on the PS2, so even my jaded, skeptical ass is intrigued by the possibility of more.

spheda is the best thing ever, we need more of that. Plus taking pictures to create stuff and the semi-city buildings was awesome.

Edited the topic name to say what exactly happened.

For fans of the games even that can be considered a victory. A small one, but it's keeping the game(s) available at least.

So were Limited Zones and Monster Transformations.

Though to amend the statement in my previous post a bit, Level 5, when left to their own devices, are overrated (they're basically Camelot if Camelot made grinder games).

Because seriously, Akihiro Hino is like the George Lucas of video games.

You know, I actually started playing this franchise for the first time last night. Only 1 hour and 40 mins into it and I am loving it! It's like a Kingdom Hearts dungeon crawler.

It's probably just renewing the trademark for PSN or something.
