It's possible it's just a trademark and nothing will come of it, it seems kind of pointless to make a 3rd version remake unless they're going to deliberately withhold stuff like Rayquaza and the Battle Frontier from ORAS. That'd be pretty screwed up.

That's true. Especially since they didn't go with Spirit Crystal or whatever for the previous set of remakes.

As I recall they also trademarked Water Blue and Grey as appropriate, likely as a way to protect against people making counterfeits and that sort of thing.

If that were the case, why just Delta? Seems the naming scheme could allow really any Greek letter to be put in front of Emerald

Alpha and Omega are pretty self explanatory (beginning and end), Delta is associated with a change.

That's the only logic I can find.

I suspect there may be an incoming Gamma Topaz or something, and then after clearing out the four games you will get a chance to go at the Pokemon Queen (and upon beating that, you'll finally get your own little Pokemon to raise).

Corocoro leaks confirm Mega Diancie, Mega Sceptile, and Mega Swampert. Also confirms Brendan looking like a dork.

May looks like she lost a bit of weight.

Also Team Magma's grunts look like they'd get totally trounced by Aqua's grunts.

And Male MC looks a bit cross-eyed.

Loving the new goods nonetheless!

Never expected Mega Diancie. That being said, she looks awesome in her Mega Form.

IDIOTDICE:  I always thought the male MC had silver coloured hair.... I never realized it was a toque... Or something.

I thought it was his hair for a long time too. It's a very common misconception. :P

Well, Brendan's got a tan now. I guess the white hat clashed too much with his white skin.

I guess the protag's clothes make sense given that Hoenn is supposedly a warmer area, kinda like how they remembered to give Platinum protags more clothes since it was a cold areas, except of course for Dawn's tiny tiny skirt.

MSceptile's and MSwampert's abilities are Lightningrod and Swift Swim by the way, probably chosen with double battles in mind. I think the Sceptile design is just alright (don't like the orange bits) but I love the Swampert design myself.
