Only a few hours until everything starts. Can't say I'm dying of excitement, but seeing the schedule posted on Gematsu gives the impression that the event is gonna be alright overall.

So Microsoft didn't waste everybody's time on pushing Kinect crap and only briefly mentioned a live action Halo TV series. Otherwise it was mostly a safe conference with only a Platinum Games game and Rise of the Tomb Raider being the only noteworthy reveals. Everything else was either iterative, announced in previous years, or remakes/reboots.

Oh man... Rise of the Tomb Raider.  What a name. x)

I liked the conference quite a bit myself.  I won't be getting an XBOne though, so hopefully some of that makes its way across to another platform.
(Particular "Inside", the "Limbo" sequel[?]).

Playdead's 'Inside' was a nice surprise. I really like Limbo so I'm definitely gonna check it out in the future.

I agree, very safe press conference from Microsoft with some nice looking stuff. Platinum's showing looked a bit like "Monster Hunter: Douchebag Edition"

Can't watch Sony's conference tonight cuz I gotta do FFXIV raid shit, but eagerly looking forward to them trouncing MS. As long as they don't ruin it with TLG developments and give a good showing of the VR headset, sony's got pretty much free reign to play around.

EA's conference was dull. The only change made this year is that this time, Microsoft didn't line their line up with most of EA's stock, so we only had to sit through Battlefield/Madden/Fifa/etc. once this year.

EA's selling a lot of ideas and concepts this year.

If Mirror's Edge and Star Wars: Battlefront are handled properly both could end up being great games. Criterion Games hasn't disappointed me yet so I'm interested in whatever they are doing.

I feel like the slogan of the EA conference was "Cool things are coming... eventually.   ...also sports."

I also like to think that Dawngate's developers quote of "This team was put together specifically for this game" was a subtle way of telling other developers that they'll be on the job market soon.

Ubisoft: Rise of the Girlwood Edition. Some of those games went right for the feels. Some didn't. Not their best, and pretty weak compared to recent years, but at least it was mostly entertaining (one way or another). And surprisingly, with this, there was no mention of the Kinect during this year's conferences.

The only thing I didn't really like about Ubisoft's was The Crew's "This is just one of many 2 hour challenges available."

I barely want to go on a two hour drive in the real world, much less in my video games.

Well, I'm at a movie theater about to watch the Sony conference.  Yeah, I decided to go to this thing after all.  Better be worth it...

I did get some sortof PSN code forattending this thing.  Don't know what it's for, though.
