So who here has tried the Sinner's Sandwich from Deadly Premonition yet?

It's actually surprisingly good.
In my vision, I see that one of us is going to KO the other.

Ham Sandwich retrospective

I appreciate all of the sandwiches commonly offered by delis, but like a good number of sandwich fans I only knew about ham sandwiches from more complex offerings but when I discovered that there were other sandwiches I had to try them out, I did not know that I would embrace ham and turkey sandwiches and they became some of my favorite sandwiches of all time... This is a video on the basic ham sandwich.

And holy shit was that ever a run-on sentence.

No matter how I feel about pastrami on rye (I don't hate it...it's just my least favorite sandwich...that does not mean it's bad, though), I have to thank delis everywhere because if it were not for pastrami on rye I would never have discovered the basic ham sandwich.

Which is kind of weird when you think about it.

And reubens are friggin awesome.  Visit my youtube channel.

Ew, ham sandwiches.

Peanut Butter+Banana is clearly the best option in all situations.

You good sir are quite insane. The ham sandwich is the greatest sandwich in existence! Combining ham and swiss cheese is one the greatest inventions that mankind has ever made! To deny that is to deny the very essence of humanity! As such, you are clearly a lizard person as no one else would dare to deny their humanity to such an extent.

I hate ham

I mostly pop in occasionally to give my two cents on certain controversial things, so if you disagree then send a PM, because I generally don't check for replies in threads in case I feel like replying and then things get heated/derailed.

That's it! I'm declaring war on the lizard people and your upside down underground cities. I hope your people are ready for the fallout from the war rot come!

I HAVE! I used lunch meat cold cut turkey instead of actual turkey though. One of these days I'll have to try it with actual shreds of turkey as it really was quite good!

The best sandwich by far is the bacon sandwich. 2 slices of bacon ina single slice of bread....nothing better than that.

I like a good pulled pork sandwich on a kaiser roll with pepperjack cheese, light slaw and a pickle, but I'm strange like that.

I know I just posted, but I feel like I should say that sandwiches are my favorite food of all time.  And I'm no snob about it.  One time, I worked someplace where the only nearby lunch options were a wings place and a Subway sandwich shop - I ate at Subway almost every single work day for 9 months.  I got several different sandwiches, depending on what I felt like that day.  I like Jimmy John's, Which Wich, Ike's in the SF bay area, Snarf's, Half Fast Subs in Boulder, Collegetown Bagel in Ithaca, Monsoon's suggestion of pulled pork sounds awesome...

I just really like sandwiches. :)

I feel that way about soup.

If I'm in the vicinity of Charlottesville, VA then my sandwich shop of choice is Little John's.  Two locations, open 24 hours, and the prices are pretty good.  I don't even want to think of how many times I was studying in the library until 2AM+, then hustled over to LJ's for a Wild Turkey combo.  Freshman 15? Try Freshman 25.

I am also a pretty big fan of soup.  Just not quite as much as sandwiches.

Soup to me is a cheap way of filling people up with water.

(maybe 'real' soup is good, who knows, I'm much too biased by now)

Soup can be awesome.  It can also be crap.  Really depends on the soup...

Also, I'm glad to see this thread has become the soup and sandwich thread.
