I don't see much discussion about the ongoing Summer Steam sale over here.
Are you guys not partaking much or do we just need a topic for it?

My loot up to now is:
- One Way Heroics
- Papers Please
- Winter Voices (Not sure if good... but I had half of it from a Humble Bundle)

Currently debating if I want The Wolf Among Us for 8.49$ (-66%).
I can foresee it going to -75% later and anyway I won't play it until every episode is out.
I'm doing the same with The Walking Dead 2 since I just wouldn't be able to wait in-between episodes.

---

Also, anyone else thinks it's a bit bullshitty how they raised the minimum level from 5 to 7 to get event cards?

The team thing is bullshit. Every day there's a different team that has over twice as many points as other teams. I don't know, it's nice that they seem to be letting each team have a chance to win, but it's just so obviously fake.

That scorecard is like if a mosque got a boner.

I actually do not understand why people want Steam trading cards anyway. They don't actually do anything (do they?).

On the plus side, the ones I sell fund new games for me. So I shouldn't complain.

I don't really get or care about the card system either, but I guess I can understand some people like to collect them.

As for me, I stayed under €10 so far during this sale, so I'm pretty happy. Just bought Game Dev Tycoon and played it for a while. Nearly went bankrupt in the fourth year, but my epic sci-fi RPG Sea of Stars got excellent reviews (8-9) and its sequel Sea of Star II is considered a classic in my little universe. It got two 10s! :D

So far, I picked up:

Walking Dead Season 2
Wolf Among Us
Ikaruga (I suck at this game!!!)
Metal Slug 3 (got Stephen a copy, too)
Metal Gear Rising
Bulletstorm

I'm holding out for Cave Story+.  It's at 6.99 now, but I think it may drop even more by the end of the sale.

Also making it a point to play more of my Steam games.  Finished Braid last night, played Hotline Miami for an hour and hated it (really want to love it, but the controls are pretty shitty), and I'm playing Fez when I'm around my home computer.

I finally bought FTL advanced, that game is hard and has taught me fire is serious business. Also, the Battle block theater bundle with castle crashers was really cheap. I mainly want to do the event to craft some dota 2 items.

I'm terrible enough with money as it is, especially in the summer (don't know why...).

So apperantly I bought 12 games when Valdis Story was the only one I want to play...and I'm still waiting for a deeper discount there...

Oh stuff I actually bought during Steam sale:

- Bleed
- Banished.

Stuff if I want if it goes on a daily;
- Goat Simulator
- Raetikon
- Spintires, though I think that's probably too new.

I'd also like to remind people that GOG and Gamersgate or doing summer sales. I... don't think Greenman is.

http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-ETS2G/euro-truck-simulator-2-gold <- also get this fffffffff HOW HARD MUST I PIMP TRUCK GAME.

I put $25 in my steam wallet and got the following:
Witcher 2
Syberia 1 and 2
Marlow Briggs and the mask of blah blah it was 99 cents
Wolf Among Us
Castle Crashers
Risk of Rain
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon

I'm considering refilling my wallet in case something else good goes on sale. I kinda want Assassin's Creed 4 and Transistor but they're still to pricey for me at the moment. I also hope Broken Age gets a deeper discount.

I'm really surprised that Banner Saga isn't listed in the best sellers after being the daily for 48 hours.
Do people not know about the game?

And 50% off was such a good discount too for a game that less than 6 months old... :(

Maybe the people who wanted it already got it and the rest are waiting for 75% off?

Banner Saga has gone on sale at least 4 times in the last 12 months, so I think that's a safe bet....
