SaGa Frontier. Short stories, can clear 1 of em in a good day or two, simple mechanics and layout, turnbased, and grindy. Plus, no spinning camera to make nauseous players vomit.

Great, now I'm reminded of the hours I spent with Battlefield 2142. :P Kinda miss that game. Wonder if it's on Steam?

EDIT: It's not available anywhere. :T

I get genuinely upset when people say that 2142 was when the series started to go downhill. I thought that game was just as fun, if not more fun, than Battlefield 2.
My Blog - It's about gaming stuff. You can read it if you want. No pressure. I mean, there's a link there you just have to click on, but... y'know... whatever.

Maybe they meant it went downhill RIGHT AFTER that one.

He'd still have to deal with Dark Fact.
In my vision, I see that one of us is going to KO the other.

...damn, that's right. That's why I never finish Ys Book I despite having restarted it a billion times. =P

SaGa Frontier. Short stories, can clear 1 of em in a good day or two, simple mechanics and layout, turnbased, and grindy. Plus, no spinning camera to make nauseous players vomit.

Depending on the story that could work, but I'm not sure I still have that game anymore. I could replace it easily, though, but not until after I'm better (unless this dude from the bronx accepts my offer...then I'll have it replaced in a few days).

Well, I'm not that dude, but you should tell me where he is so I can totally not steal it first...

He accepted the offer, though apparently it'll be coming in a SaGa Frontier II case w/ manual...weird...hopefully it'll be here tomorrow.

To this day that game is burned into my memory as the worst commercial jRPG I ever got my hands on (and I've played some stinkers). SaGa Frontier 2 on the other hand is a different story, so if you're going for a SaGa game, save yourself the pain and pick up the second one instead.

You should play FFVII

cause when you get to the part where Aerith's in the drainpipe with the hobo and is all "This guy are sick!"

You can be all

"you and me both buddy."

--- edit ---

Actual serious answer? PSX spyro games.

- Not terribly difficult.
- Colorful.
- Nice music with a good beat that you could dance to.
- Feels like on drugs.
- Seriously you could just trip around on Nyquitussin (which is what I will be naming my pony OC) and just gallop Spyro around the monk habitat while giggling.

Or play FFIX and get your entire party loaded down with the Virus status effect.
