Apparently the Asterix holders are the same people? I'm a bit gutted about that. I liked them well enough, but I felt like I've seen just about everything they can offer at least 4 times over. Also the plot will be about rescuing Anges because they want a "saving the princess" feeling. Sigh, can that just not die?

I guess whosoever is bad enough to kidnap not-Yuna would probably have to be final boss tier. That or my Monk/Ranger/Valkyrie/Ninja/Dark Knight Anges was apparently not canon. At least we also know that the Rose Legion's deaths were also not canon either (must be due to Girl Power).
In my vision, I see that one of us is going to KO the other.

Argh.... I'd like the approach that they're faffing about doing some other thing than finding some contrived way to get in a fight with you....

Hell, a "do a quest for a new job class" sounds with me.

And why do we have to save Agnes?  I'd rather her be dead (with honours).

To be honest, I wouldn't mind more explanation for "angel Agnes"; the idea sort of saves the day in the first game, and with little context.

I feel like such a bad person for wanting Qada and De Rosa to return.  They're such horrible, evil assholes.

So what the hell does that mean for the asterisk holders that are dead/unable to fight because of storyline fights?...meh whatever.

I hope the game has a bad end where we fail to save Agnes. If so, I will get that ending and call the game done.

Actually, considering the theme of the first game, and the title, I wouldn't be surprised if you're not supposed to save Agnes.  For example, the game starts out trying to save her, and you "Bravely Default" on your duties for whatever reason.

. . .It would certainly be an interesting take on "Save the girl" at least.

I can actually think of a few ways to 'Bravely Default' here. Perhaps, when the group finally reaches her, she tells them that she doesn't want to be saved, due to self-blame for certain actions,  politics, a long-term gambit, trying to save them from a trap, etc. There are multiple ways that could be handled.

As long as they don't

Code: [Select]
have you do the last section 8 times instead of 4
I think I'll be happy.

I'm (still, despite evidence) hoping the second one has a whole new set of job classes, or at least a complete overhaul of the existing classes. One of the key differences between this and FF5 in my mind, is that in FF5 I wanted to play around with all the job classes and could always make a decent party out of what I was working with. In BD only a little over half the jobs were viable in most situations while the rest just handicapped your party while you were leveling it up.

IT"S TIME TO SPECULATE WILDLY. DUN DUN DUUUN

I still hope we see a few changes to the game....

Oh here's that completed figure... Eh.  Yoshida isn't an easy style to duplicate (much less in figure form since he's kinda sketchy).  But wow those thighs (remindsmeofmine--stupidbody).

@Dice: While they did a good job with the figure, I'm not really impressed by it. I've seen so many nice collectible figures from DC, Marvel and Metal Gear that this is just alright in comparison.

If anything, I think they should do Nendoroids out of the characters from this series.

I agree.  The face is super bland.  Nendo's would be a 1000% better fit for the series that I'm surprised GSC hasn't tried to jump on that bandwago---... oh wait, Square likely wouldn't.  I hate their Play Arts stuff.

I'm not exactly a big fan of Nendos, I hate how they're so delicate, but yeah, I agree the style tends to work better with Bravely Default.  I really want to like the Magnolia figure, but there's just something holding me back.  I'll have to chalk it up to Yoshida's designs just not working terribly well in real life.

I do have to say I'm fond of the hips of Yoshida's designs, though.  Garuda from FFXIV is...yeah.
