It came out today. Yesterday on that side of the pond.
Not that I have it...but I will, if only for live "Echoes". :P

Echoes is SO good, I was very pleasantly surprised. It works really well because Richard Wright is there as well. The big crescendo after the build-up gave me goosebumps.
It's all really, really good, much better than his previous DVD. Even if you don't like the On An Island material, there's plenty of Floyd to be had. Shine On is pretty impressive, largely due to Crosby and Nash still having amazing voices despite being a million years old :P

Heh, I will stop spending money soon, with uni starting again and all. But hey, I've been working hard, why shouldn't I buy A BAJILLION CD's.
Caravan - If I Could Do It All Over Again, I'd Do It All Over You
Cinq - Day Off
The latter is a mistake. I ordered from a Japanese record company and they've sent me the wrong thing. Sorting it out might prove tricky :P

Therion - Gothic Kabbalah
This is my first experience of Therion and I can say it is quite good.

Gothic Kabbalah is my favorite Therion album now. At first I was concerned at the deviation from their regular vocal stylings. But the four vocalists they had then all have personality.
Now if only this new guy could justify his replacing Mats Levin. All I have heard from him so far is Muspelheim from this year's Wacken and he was only singing backup and managed to forget the lyrics several times.
Now Snowy Shaw... There's a showman.
.....I almost thought I typed, "There's a snowman."
I am so glad I can sleep in tomorrow. :P

I'm still not sold on Gothic Kabbalah. Compared to Sirius B it just sounds poo :(
Son of the Sun ftw ._.

It's so true. Gothic Kabbalah isn't
bad
per se, but to me it doesn't really compare to Sirius B/Lemuria or Secret of the Runes...or hell, anything since Vovin. But Therion hasn't really had any missteps up until GK, so I guess they're due.
But "Son of the Staves of Time" owns like a motherfucker. There's no denying this. :P
Okay, tangent over:
Halford - Metal God Essentials Vol. 1
I don't normally buy "best of" albums, but I had to after I saw that fucking cover. It's beyond ridiculous. :P

OK, bought more music I had to throw the thread off with:
Maná: Sueños Líquidos
and
The Glenn Miller Orchestra: The Glenn Miller Memorial Album (a 2 CD set)
I almost bought some Meatloaf and a 3 disc set of Nat King Cole too, but I decided 2 CDs was as far as this week's budget was going.
