Number Two's eyes narrowed and became what are known in the Shouting and Killing People trade as cold slits, the idea presumable being to give your opponent the impression that you have lost your glasses or are having difficulty keeping awake. Why this is frightening is an, as yet, unresolved problem.

Hm.

Dirty Projectors - Bitte Orca. Picked up after seeing rave reviews practically everywhere. I'm finding it somewhere between boring, shrill, and confusing. And it's kind of amelodic.
I did the same thing. The only song that eventually grew on me was Stillness Is The Move.

Because everyone here loves hip hop...I just shelled out a lot more money than I thought I would for a 6 track EP boxset by Blue Scholars, OOF!  Been pretty hyped for this release for a while and they were nice enough to give out a digital download to anyone who ordered so they don't have to wait for the CD...pretty damn good stuff.

Bought Los Campesinos!'s Hold On Now, Youngster last night. It's the kinda sing-a-long, toe-tappy muzak I've been craving.

I picked up the remaster of The Beatles - Abbey Road. It doesn't sound hugely different, but it's louder (in a good way), and feels a lot warmer. Plus it's a really nice little package for one of my favourite albums.

How is it?  I've heard one song on it and I'm a bit wary of picking it up
