The Music Video Topic

I find very rarely does an amazing song get justice done my a great music video.  You don't have to post "art" or whatever, but post what you thought was a good music video here!!

"Shut Me Up" by Mindless Self-Indulgence

I freaking LOVE this video.  The song and accompanying music video are...a bit crazy to say the least; but it's rare that the song matches up with video so well and really goes out of its way to do so.  If you've ever worked retail, you may sympathize a bit with it and appreciate it (specifically the part where you can blow up phones and shoot customers with the scanning gun). :P

I wouldn't say this one is good...in fact it is one of the most terrifying music videos I've ever watched.

Kids-MGMT It does fit the song really well though.

The answer to the question, what would happen if eighty hipsters had a giant pastel orgy and splooged out nintendo?

There is more smug self satisfaction and false sense of accomplishment in this 4 minute video than my brain can safely comprehend.  I bet these people bleed PBR.

For the record, I've seen anamanaguchi live before and actually enjoy a lot of chip-tune, but this might be one of the worst things ever produced.

While I could mention classic 1980s videos like Michael Jackson "Thriller," Peter Gabriel "Sledgehammer," or Genesis "Land of Confusion" as well as the 1990s videos Prodigy "Smack My Bitch Up," or the epic Guns 'n Roses videos for "Don't Cry," "November Rain," and "Estranged" but my all time favorite music video is still this 1994 gem:

(Beastie Boys "Sabotage")

EDIT: And, like Beavis, 20 years later and I'm still waiting for the "real" video to come out.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YsiTUxe4MI

And I want to make mention of this killer video for "Monarch Omega" by Abnormality.  They're one of my favorite bands and the lead vocalist is a friend of mine.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lBf1kM0wBfg

Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc
Stylish and fits the actual song well. I like most Gorillaz  videos in general.

^ absolute classic there.

And another here:

Jamiroquai -- Virtual Insanity.
Overplayed a bit, but honestly, I never get sick of the floor gimmick in the video.

REVIVAL!

So this is a "live video" -- the music isn't from the studio album. But you can tell the audio got mixed afterwards.

The quality of the three musicians performing (all three sing and play TONS of instruments ...one girl has 4 keyboards, another has like a 20+ auxiliary percussion setup) ... just insane. WATCH THIS:

Stealing Sheep - Not Real (Live-ish ver)

(this band is a trio from Liverpool. They're like ... awesome lady-Beatles. In their new-age phase)

I love the animated sequences in this video.  Great song too.  Butthole Surfers "Who was in my room last night?"  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNAkbbKycCM

You know what's a cool gimmick for music videos?  Filming them in reverse.

"Drop" by The Pharcyde.  Video directed by Spike Jonze in 1995, when the concept was pretty damn original
"Typical" by Mute Math
"From Your Mouth" by God Lives Underwater
