In this world, corporations reign supreme, all human life is infected with nanomachines designed to oppress them, and terrifying White Knights ensure that everyone obeys the laws.

But, this is not about those people.

You are a bartender at VA-11 HALL-A, affectionately nicknamed "Valhalla". Although it is just a small bar downtown, it attracts the most fascinating people this side of dystopia. Keep your clients lubricated and you will be made privy to the most interesting stories.

...right, that website's not confusing as all get out to comprehend.

I am curious quite a bit here...but...

-What IS this? What genre? What age range? What mechanics? What...anything?
-Is it finished or just a prototype/demo-prologue? (I keep seeing conflicting answers)
-...why are people so lazy and endlessly use Nordic references for fictional names? That stopped being tolerable a millennia ago.

In a world so cyber and punk it makes Cyberpunk 2077 look like Steampunk 1877...
You're a bartender, and your sidekick is a talking corgi (named Killer) and also your bouncer. The gameplay involves fast paced drink serving action.

Just played the demo. I thought it was quite fun. The dialogue is really reminiscent of Phoenix Wright (including characters with puns for names). I think the bar tending mechanic is pretty original as well. I like how branching the dialogue is. I'm wondering how much of that quality will stick around with the games release.

I really liked the demo of this (talked about it on the podcast a few episodes back, too). Great music, cool atmosphere, unique premise. Very much looking forward to the full game.

Think "Papers Please" but with mixology instead of passport control.
