FFV so far, I got it when it came out but just finished it. Almost done with FFIII though. I'm right outside the last dungeon.

The Legend of Zelda:Twilight Princess

I know some don't see Zelda as an RPG series, but I frankly don't care either way, and it's all I've played this year, so...

Screwed around and felt nostalgic.

Burned through Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest.

Forgot how goofy the dialogue was, and how shallow it really was, but I still had some fun with it personally.

First game I beat for 2007 was Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime for DS.  Most people have little to no expectations for mascot games (Chocobo Racing was crap and the Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon games were yawnfests), but this one is surprisingly good with interesting gameplay elements.  Tank battles are awesome.

Definitely my pick for most pleasant surprise of 2006.

Final Fantasy XII.  Solid addition to the series, but the storyline definitely didn't captivate me.

Just finished Phantasy Star Universe, Story Mode, a week ago.  If only network adapters weren't so hard to find, I'd try the online mode.

Then again, I'm still on dial-up.  Maybe not a good idea.

EDIT: Just beat Atelier Iris 2 today.  Fun game, even if the story wasn't as good as the first.  Now if only NISA would bring over Grand Fantasm...

Beaten Ys: Oath In Felghana last night.

The original version was the very first Ys game I have played on the SNES. It was responsible for not making me give the other games in the series in the shot. I didn't hate it, but thought it was nothing special, and didn't realize that it was the black sheep of the series until many years later.

Tried Napishtim last year, and I enjoyed that game a lot, and see the series in a new light. I am glad I have played Felghana which was a wonderful, and extremely fan game. Unless its an MMO, it sucks that Japanese PC games don't bother coming here.

And to think this masterpiece is a remake of the first Ys game that ive played, and didn't care much about.

I have to say I wasn't too impressed from YS. I wish the game had a somewhat more forgiving difficulty because the game doesn't give you a good tutorial to understand. It took me an hour to understand I can actually upgrade my gear to become stronger with Emel.

It's still a good game, just not great. Probably a 7.4 for me.

I'm playing Fire Emblem for the GBA and so far it's wonderful.
