The Old RPG games
« on: January 14, 2016, 10:38:08 AM »
I've always loved RPG games, ever since FF came to America, but I feel they don't make them like they use to.  I mean, I would play any RPG but now I'm only into Elder Scrolls and Dragon Age.  I personally think the old classics were better than the ones we have now days.  However, I stumbled on a software  allowing me to create games like the old RPG's, so that's what im doing.  recapturing the child and why he fell in love with these games in the first place

The Games I liked were

FF 6 and 7
Shinning Force
Suikoden
Romance of the Three Kingdoms (ROTK)

it's ok, felt the need to respond cuz a few other forums I got on did in fact lock my thread as soon as I posted... kinda aggravating, one forum that I got onto was for people who create games with the same software I use and they post stuff about their games... I did the same thing and they locked it saying so advertising which is what they do... just a little annoying on forums lately

RPGMaker? I had a lot of fun messing around with it although I never made anything good enough to show someone else.

Yeah, I'm guessing he/she is talking about RPGMaker.
Which version are you using?

RPG Maker VX ACE, ive got a website with content on the story and characters thus far.  the game will be free to play and I am looking for people interested for when im finished with it.  the site is on my profile if you want to check that out.  it's really fun, i'm having a blast with it... though some things can be very tedious

I've often thought about using RPG Maker to build a RWBY RPG.  But... I'm more of an Idea Guy than an Idea Make-Happener.

So, if someone wants to go ahead and make that, you have my preorder.
