Okay, here's the thing, my computer keeps freezing, and it's not normal freezing either. Everything in the background works, it just stops responding to my commands. My mouse cursor can move, but it can't click anything. My keys won't work, though I can use ALT/CTRL/DEL to call up the task manager, but anything after that is still stuck.

Any idea what's going on?

As a last resort, do a system restore to a time previous to when these problems began occuring.  That's last resort though, seeing as it will remove anything you did in the days between the restore point and now.
