I downloaded it again when I was looking through demoes earlier and tried logging on for the heck of it. Actually worked, and I probably just fucked up any chance of me being able to come back to the PS2 version. Thought I'd bring this up in case anyone cared: Not sure whether Sega fucked up or if this was deliberate to generate more interest to buy the full game.
Edit: Deliberate. I saw ads for the 'online demo' when browsing the Xbox Live Marketplace. Should've renamed it, but I guess they really couldn't.
