Well in my case Nintendo is my last hope for some good surprises this year. And the good news is they cannot possible fuck up as much as they did with last year's "conference."
Hell, they've already won Ubisoft's conference with almost no effort, and now they've got Switch titles to lean on this year (IIRC, in regards to 2016, it was pretty much the year of BotW, considering what we got out of that, I'd say they didn't blow it out of their ass that year; especially in comparison to their true stinkers like '07, '08 or '11; Wii Music anyone or how about "failing to announce FE:Awakening's localization until after they got badgered about it after the fact because their showing got bogged down showing off Paper Mario: Sticker Star"?).
That being said, they did kinda spend themselves back in January (I don't think they had a particularly good E3 showing the last time they pulled something like that back in '13, but then they also dropped ALBW that April so they really left nothing in the canon for E3).
Misses for me:
FFXV VR fishing. Come on, this has to be a joke, right?
Its as much of a joke as the
DLC Monster Truck car attachment to go with the already in-game Car Wings attachment (now if there were only some way to combine the two, and better still, change the body of the car to that of a Winnebago, then we could finally take on the
Mega Maid Omega Maid XV bonus boss; "Gentlemen, I believe that FFXV has gone from 'Suck' to 'Blow'.").
