I really dunno the best forum for this, but they are toys related to the movie, and otherwise would be related to the TV series, so close enough. that non-transforming speculation was a load of crap!

Bumblebee seems to have changed from those early pics, though Optimus seems to more or less stay the same.

I completely agree. I bet there will be people who would spend money on bumblebee, but in the end, they are still toys. I sometimes get little figurines, but I don't dish out more than $10 on them.
