I gotta see Le Adder Noir play again sometime.  Fantastic band and great guys; always were supportive of my old band Sullen Door ( http://www.myspace.com/sullendoor ;we played some shows with Le Adder Noir) and they're supportive of my current musical project as well (Godzilla Vs. The Smurfs http://www.myspace.com/godzillasmurfparade)

My favorite song by Le Adder Noir is "Lost Creatures" which you can hear on their site http://www.leaddernoir.com/ (their myspace http://www.myspace.com/leaddernoir) has different songs.)

I adore the lyrics in "Lost Creatures."  Listen to the song to hear the lyrics.

Stylistically, I'd call the band indie/alternative rock.

Well, if I had to choose, I'd probably pick A Passion Play.  But truth be told, I don't particularly care for either. :P

WhiteSnake - Here I Go Again

I don't even really like this song but I heard it on the radio at work today and I can't get it out of my head.  I hate that!

One of the best post-rock songs ever.

Red Sparowes is awesome, though I haven't heard that album.

Pain of Salvation - Kingdom of Loss

One of my new favorite Pain of Salvation songs.

I'm really enjoying 'At the Soundless Dawn'. Really enjoying. Possibly my favourite post-rock album thus far.

Amazing song. Acquiring At the Soundless Dawn now.

Btw, the new Devin Townsend has leaked. Not as epic as Synchestra, but I think the Dev fans here will enjoy it.

I don't know why, but "Cows With Guns" by Dana Lyons is stuck in my head.  The song's f'n awesome.  But it must be heard, it's funny.  Cows With Guns is awesome.

I like this flash animation that goes along with it. http://www.shagrat.net/Portfolio/cows.swf

Sigur Ros - whatever the second track of this album is called.

I'm having trouble getting into Sigur Ros. I love the first couple of tracks on this album (Agaelis Byrjun, which I've heard is their best), but then it just starts to all sound the same, and it really runs together to a point where I take nothing from it.

Hmmmmmmm....I'm a little suprised to hear you say you don't like either. I suspected you'd say TAAB, since it's more .....along the lines of Heavy Horses musically. (Acoustic bits and rock bits - while APP is way more .... "avant garde".

As for right now:

I recommend getting ( ) next then, because Takk and Agaetis Byrjun have similar structure, even though Takk is a bit more diverse. Agaetis Byrjun might grow on you a bit more though, so keep listening. :P

This has made me want to listen to Sigur Rós, so my song right now is Glósóli, one of my favorites by the band. I fucking love the music video for this song too.
