Quote from: "Amankhan"
Practically screaming?  It says "DS" a grand total of 1 time in the article.  Which is coincidentally the same amount of times that it says "GBA".  (Green square on the right side of the page, a bit towards the top.)  And yes, DS is in a larger font.

It had DS in the same green box, DS in a giant font underneath that box, and to the right of the green box was what looked like an info page with DS in it, so that's three to GBA's 1. I admittedly thought it was only two times it said DS until I looked for the GBA there.

Yasumi Matsuno.....

There really isn't any need to question it's stagnant direction, although I'm not about to jump on that band-wagon. Time will tell I guess...

New Famitsu scans (which show you how the environments are definitely better than FFTA) reveal that laws are optional and perma-deaths will be enabled if you have no laws since the Judge is a member of you party now (and only they can revive dead characters now). Your opponent can have a Judge but their laws don't effect you (which should add some more challenge to the game :D), I don't know about you guys but my anticipation has gone way up for this game. You can see them here if you haven't already.

At this point I don't care much about the art or story, while I wish Yoshida could do the designs for FFTA2, I know there is nobody at S-E that can write up a political plot as compelling as what Matsuno has done. Knowing that I'm really hoping that the gameplay turns out great above all else and it looks like they are heading in the right direction, the option not to have laws and perma-deaths making a return are great starts.

... Are they throwing everyone into FFT? It's like SE's trying to spite us for bitching about the character design, and is throwing A2's lead into FFT for fuck knows what reason.

Maybe more character designers should do what Digital Devil Saga did and have everyone wearing grey/black jumpsuits and guns as weapons. There wouldn't be any complaints then...

As for FFTA2, i hated the gba game so I'm not really excited about this one. As long as its different enough from that one everything's okay as far as I'm concerned.
