it's not exatcly the same premise, but it's still Mike, Servo, and Crow. Just not as characters, as themselves.

This got me thinking...

If they're going to the trouble of releasing DVDs of this...why don't they just start making new straight-to-DVD episodes of MST?
I mean, sure...the people who played Mike and the Bots are here...but they're not Mike(heh) and the Bots. Half of the charm of the show was seeing the characters at the bottom of the screen.
With this...it's just going to be a pudgey Mike and two old, pudgey guys.

It's almost, but not quite, awesome.
