How dare some drunk bastard kill the guy who brought us Porky's. That was classic testosterone ape cinema. Oh, and Christmas Story was good too.

Normally lowbrow films make me cringe, but I have a soft spot for Porky's.

Yeah, I was pretty bummed when I read this earlier. He had a pretty "varied" collection of movies, didn't he? Baby Geniuses? and the sequel? ugh. He gets a pass for all the junk just for making A Christmas Story.
Of course, in my usual judgemental way, I couldn't help but wonder what the hell they were doing out at 2:30 am. Go to bed, man!
The drunk dude didn't happen to be illegal did he? Whole 'nother can of worms there.
