I just threw my controller and broke it. I really, really hate Grandia 3. This game really is a polished piece of shit. Maybe I am being a sore loser, but making the last boss have a special move that kills all my party members at full health when he isnt even at his turn really, really pisses me off. I can hardly deal with the fact that he moves almost 4 times before each of my characters can move once, but most of his moves make my character stop moving on the IP gage altogether. Like I said, I just tried for two hours and got him to 15% health each time, and that move just kills me. I had to remind myself I paid $51.86 for this piece of shit, or else I would have thrown the disc in my microwave.

Yeah, and I even peaked at a few faqs and they all say that a a level range in the mid 40's would fly too. I admit, losing that many times, while being so close to killing him, and each try taking like 25mins, really set me off. Tonight is the night though.

I started playing Gunbound again after two friends of mine were talking about it and how I told them I used to play it. I still suck at it though and hey waiting during extremely long matches.

Played Grandia III for two whole hours tonight! I just made it to some big gate things in Dragon Valley and I'm half expecting a boss battle.
I hate the Green Men...

I just beat Grandia 3 and man am I glad its over. The ending did wrap things up and the last boss, as cheap as it was, did provide a soild challenge after all. 4 times a charm as they dont say....
Also, I went to play a quick session a Lufia 2 and my SNES just stopped working altogether. I tried four games and I get nothing on the screen at all. Bummer.
I think I am going to try and play through Persona 2: Eternal Punishment. I bought this and never played it, so I figured what the hell.

Rather than start up Radiata Stories, I go and put in Ratchet: Deadlocked. At least this is supposed to be really short. Enjoying it more than 3 right now, ironically.

Um, I think I know what attack you're talking about... and it isn't even hard to avoid. All you had to do was...
Code:
...choose Defend and move the character somewhere else, that isn't in range of that attack when it activates. :P

Anyway, I'm 20 hours into Shadow Hearts: From the New World, and loving every second of it. Just finished Chichen Itza.
I recall someone said the characters were 'lifeless', in the SH: FtNW thread. Aside from Natan, that statement is really far from the truth. :P
Also, the game got pretty tough. Normal battles are actually kicking my ass. >_>

More Grandia III. Beat La Ilim and Emelious. The battle against the latter took forever, because I had to revive fallen characters all the time and heal a lot. Only after clearing the snow level, I understood that you have no way of getting back on to the world map before the final dungeon. Since I would have liked to stock up on SP recovery items at the casino, that's no good. I really hate it, how the game never bothers to recover your SP to maximum and you can't carry more than nine units of any item.
Code:
Story-wise this game is really bad. There are no twists and no character development whatsoever, just Alfina's stupid "niisaaaaaaan" all the time.

I couldnt have said it better myself. This game really isnt great at all, other than how it looks. No wonder not a single person heard anything about this game until a few months before its release. I look at this game as a serious cash-grab on SE's part. What hurts even more is that I fell for it.
