I played more Shadow Hearts: FtNW today, and my opinion about it hasn't really changed since yesterday. If anything I'm more impressed with it, now that I have all of my characters. It's so great that all the characters have a unique and different variety of abilities and traits (except for Frank...), but at the same time, it makes it hard to ditch the three characters that I want to use, but can't. I mean, I'm one of those people who likes to form a party, and stick with it, without bothering to mix and match and swap in my low level characters every now and then.

Code:
I just got the second floor key for the Las Vegas Casino, where I assume that McManus pimp will be. I'm totally engrossed in the story so far, as I've never played an RPG filled with Grand Theft Auto-esque sceneries and themes. It's one of the few RPGs that I've played in a long time that feels completely fresh, and for that, I'm grateful.

Anyways, I decided on my party. Johnny, for his nifty camera stuff, Shania, for her transforming goodness, Hilda, because her Calorie Meter makes me laugh, and Ricardo, because he's the most badass character in the game, and his Seranade skills are freaking cool :P

Grandia III -  I feel so behind since everybody finished this already.  Anyways, I just finished the Melc Ruins and about to head off to my next destination.

Yeah, I have a will-power and spending problem.  After reading the Oblivion thread and seeing how Cauton didn't like Morrowind (like me) but likes Oblivion, I decided to go out and get the game.  I'm going to have to stop myself from starting it before I finish Grandia III though.

ICO - About 2 hours in, enjoying it a lot, although I'm fairly sucky at it. There's been a few times when Yorda's been right in one of those portals and I've yanked her out at the last second :P

Didn't really do much in Shadow Hearts: FtNW. Just did a bit in the story and ran around looking for sidequests and trading Snap Cards, which is easy now that I have access to the

Code:
Monster Arena in the Arkham (?) College. It has all the monsters that you might have missed just begging to take their pictures :P

Oblivion:

I joined the Thieve's Guild and stole a bunch of shit from random places. Did a couple special jobs for the guild and then grew bored. I wandered my way up to a little town to the east and took in the sites. Decided I would kill a guy in the stables one night and steal a horse. Then went home to sleep.

Now I'm part of the Dark Brotherhood. Heh...killing is FUN!

Oblivion:
Completed the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood questlines, and got expelled from the Mages Guild in the process. Wussy mages and their "don't kill any guild members" policy. Will now have to do a pretty annoying fetch quest to be allowed back in. I especially enjoyed the Dark Brotherhood questline, which had a fairly interesting storyline and some very exciting missions.

I'm still amazed by the size of this game. I spent somewhere around 10-15 hours just completing said two questlines, and that's a lot more time than it takes to complete some whole games. I still haven't touched the main story quest yet, nor have I begun my ascension in the other two guilds. I can tell that Oblivion is going to be enough to keep me occupied untill Suikoden V and Kingdom Hearts 2 arrives sometime early next week.

My out of control spending just doesn't stop.  I ordered Kingdom Hearts II and Metal Saga both for $39 each.  I just can't pass up a sale.  I know I was going to wait for the Greatest Hits version, but then I thought I maybe really busy in a year since  I'm thinking about going back to school.  I might as well pick it up when it is on sale and play it when I know I'll have time.

Clueless, dont sweat it. I am sure 80% of the adults on this board with their own incomes are just as bad as us! I bought Oblivion as well, but my video card screams at me when I play it for more than 20 mins. I really though I would be ok, but I guess not. I am going to spring for a 7800 soon anyway.

I have been playing alot of Suikoden 5. Just got to Lunas. I made sure everyone has their weapons maxed, so that took about an hour of grinding. This game is really growing on me. I was a little mad at the loading times and such, but I have gotten used to it. This game was so worth the money.

Beat SuikIV... Yeah, gets better towards the end. But ultimately I don't want to ever play this game again. :P

Will probably focus on Oblivion until it bores me.

I got my hands on Kingdom Hearts II today and I played it for four and a half hours straight. That's the first I've done that with any game since Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance last fall. Okay, so I guess that wasn't too long ago, but still!

I was somewhat disoriented at first having not played Chain of Memories and having no idea what was going on. I'm glad the game filled me in to some extent. And wow, it was actually pretty sad.

Code:
Poor Roxas. It was kind of heartbreaking to me to find out he was only a portion of Sora. I suspected something along those lines from the get-go, but it was still sad.

I stopped at Yen Sid's tower. Supposed to be reading some book.
