It rains a lot in Vancouver too, and everyone is Canucks crazy.

Not me, I grew up in Calgary and started watching the Flames when I was 8. Same season they won the Cup. God, I feel old. But even before then, like Lard said, it was always on TV. Even at 5 years old you knew who Gretzky was. And street hockey games everywhere. I spent elementary school playing floor hockey during lunch hour.

At any rate. GO STARS for shutting out Vancouver. And even though Forsberg is one of my favorite players, I want San Jose to win. :( For today, go Sens, and tomorrow... SOMEONE WAKE IGINLA AND MY TEAM UP.

Kthx.

Everyone I wanted to win yesterday? Lost.

That pattern better not continue today, or I'll throw things.

(..why is CGY/DET on at 10 AM my time? I have to go to work! :()

Pens played shitty.  I'm quite surprised.

I doubt Sens will lose overall.

Ducks up 1-0 at the end of the first - this smells like a repeat of the 2003 sweep!

Fuck Colby Armstrong. Even just seeing pictures of Eaves on the ice made me want to throw up. Otherwise, thank god someone I wanted to win today (Sens) win. God knows Calgary forgot how. (I've lost hope...)

The Pens' fans make it easier to cheer against their team too. Seriously, booing our anthem? HOW MUCH of your team, including your precious Sid, is Canadian again? That's fucking right. And then chanting 'pussy' at Eaves, although he just had a CONCUSSION? What is that?

1-1 Spens.

Holy shit, Atlanta's getting KILLED. I thought they'd win at least one game against the Rags.

Van/Dallas better not go to OT. I wanna catch my game damnit.

Anaheim/Minnesota.... yawn.

Us/Detroit - I think my captain's broken. I guess we'll see when the game starts.

Damn the Thrashers got thrashed.  I didn't see the game but it must have been painful.

Saw the Sharks game last night (last period) and I thought they looked really good.  Keep it up Sharks.

No clue what's going on with Atlanta. Lehtonen is better than that. I didn't see the game though.

And HELL YES Iginla's not broken after all. :-D

Anaheim's back at home tonight, so the series is over for Minnesota.  Sorry, Wild.

Also, Brad May got suspended for three games for his sucker punch - while I'm not a fan of that style of play, it did drop from the Wild roster a player that was better than May.
