Possibly like Black Messiah more than Voodoo, idk. Although Voodoo's a Really Big Album ala Have One on Me so it'll take some time to fully sink in.

This heavy metal cat video made me think of all the metalheads on this board.

That is all.

And I certainly approve of the song in that video.  It's "Dig" by Mudvayne.  I'm not really into nu-metal, but I do like the first Mudvayne album.  Their bassist, Ryan Martinie, is an absolute beast.

"Wasteland of Far Away Places" - Legaia Duel Saga OST (Composer: Yasunori Mitsuda) Evoking good Celtic and islander feels from the Chrono Cross OST era.

2YR - Halley Labs (Dave Remmler)

I just realized that one dude has put out well over 100 albums in less than 10 years (albeit under 20 different names)...that's pretty insane...

Ghost - Cirice

A good album, but I've finally reconciled myself to the fact that they will never rise to the level of their debut album again.

Song of the moment is "7 Wounds" by Inkblott.  It's like Mudvayne (Inkblott's bassist pounds!), only more proggy, more mathy, and more intense.  I also get a bit of a Car Bomb vibe from them, and they're a pretty mathy band.

Not bad. I'm digging the music itself (especially the rhythm section), but the vocalist is kind of weak... In the sense that he sounds like a generic metal vocalist - nothing really stands out about him. Could just be the production, or something lost in transcoding to soundcloud quality.
Just my opinion/taste, of course.

EDIT: He seems more impressive and natural in "Hearts Blooming." I'll keep an ear on these dudes.

Joe Hisaishi - 1st Movement The Legend of Ashitaka

Been in a huuuuuge Joe Hisaishi mood for the past 2 weeks.  Love his Princess Mononoke Symphonic Suite!

"Blumenkranz" from the Kill La Kill OST. The lyrics in this song are brilliant...from what I can gleam from translations online...
