That is one tough baby. Most kids that age I know would cry as soon as they heard it hiss.

Oooh yea I saw this on Youtube. It said in the description that the snake was de-fanged... hence the playing with the baby. Still disturbing though, and yea! that is one ballsy baby!

Only in India. Still, I know in some parts of India, snake handling is part of the culture and even at young ages, the children learn to properly handle venomous snakes. Nowadays, scientists give these snake-handler villages mad loot for snake venom. As snakes evolve, gotta evolve the antivenoms.
Cobras are freaking awesome. Such majestic snakes. They have cobra festivals in India. Where Pamplona has running of the bulls, this one city in India has slithering of the cobras and if a cobra enters your house, it's considered a divine message from Lord Shiva.
And it's not so much that the baby is abnormally brave or anything. It's still at an age where it doesn't quite know fear yet. Babies that age don't know to be afraid of hot stoves or snakes and they will go to touch it.

probably had his mouth wired shut to teach the baby to be calm around the thing. Look at them screaming in the back, great times.
