I'm looking forward to FFXII.  Although, I think we should make a couple other new threads.

I guess to stay on topic. . . I think the storyline will be amazing and will make up for the battle system.

The Final Fantasy XII demo which came with Dragonquest 8 was underwhelming and failed to make me look forward to the final game. Ofcourse, chances are high I will buy the game anyway when it comes out in 20XX and I hope it will kick ass, but right now I can't help but don't care about it. Pretty much the same can be said about every other upcoming console rpg as far as I am concerned, except for Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion...
I hope a special edition will be released on PS3...

I'm looking forward to FFXII, but it's been such a long time coming that I'm afraid all those ZOMG feelings I once might've had have faded away. I'm sorta undecided whether I should import.

I found the voice acting in the last couple FF games (FFX, FFX-2) to be rather subpar and sometimes downright atrocious (you know what scene I'm talking about), so it might be worth trudging through the Japanese version. Meh.

It's hard to believe that the game is actually being released in Japan in two weeks.  All signs seem to point to a sure release, so I'm eager to see what the reviews will be, although I'm not as excited about the game as I was 3 years ago.

I hope for Square Enix's sake this game doesn't suck.

What you need to do is watch a couple of the new FFXII trailers a little after the North American release date is announced.  I forgot about FFXII for about a year and then I watched a couple trailers.  I got really interested in the game again.  Too bad that was about 4 months ago.  My interest will probably keep waning until a month before the game is released here.

Why is it even a good idea to keep your interest up, seriously? Every time as of late that I've gotten too hyped up for a game, I just get disappointed. You don't keep your expectations high, you're easier to please, and I'd hate to ruin that long awaited experince by expecting too much out of it. :P

I am not looking forward to the new battle system, but, hell, its Final Fantasy!  They rarely go wrong.  I am sure to enjoy every minute of it.

for me i don't think ffXII is going to be good .the game may look good for some of you ......Square Enix's sucks they do not make good games any more..........so i am not looking forward to it
