Is this something only people who play WoW would get?

'kek' is what 'lol' appears to alliance players when spoken by a horde player.

Ultima 7 has a few, most of which will be by me later posted:

"You see a lovely naked woman. She is not in the least bit concerned that she is wearing no clothes.

Sparks eyes widen and his jaw drops."

Spark is some 15 year old kid that's dad is killed in the first town. He hangs with you for some reason and is AWESOME.

Weirdass Naked 'Caveman': Mmm. Mama! Me Papa. She Mama. We make zug-zug. Maybe someday make Boy or Girl.

They're actually tax evaders. They live in a cave and eat giant bees.

I'm ashamed that I have to be the first person to point this one out. . .

I think some of the best lines have come from changing characters' names in Final Fantasy games.

In FF7, if you rename Barret "Mr. T" (which I'm sure most, if not all, of you did) then you get gems like:
Aeris: Thank you Mister Mr. T
Barret: Don't call me Mister Mr. T.  That don't sound right.

Or in FF8, one of the board members back in the day renamed Griever to "YourAss" so then Ultimecia would say "I shall now junction myself unto YourAss."

And I know someone here must've renamed Squall to Emo Kid in FF8 and laughed when Emo Kid says "I'm more complex than you think" to Quistis.

In FF9, I just had to rename Amarant to F4G0T (the aforementioned board member renamed Cloud that in FF7 to seek funny lines) just so he could introduce himself as "the Flaming F4G0T."  And later on it was funny seeing Eiko say "F4G0T, are you being a bully again?"

Drakengard has a nice slew of nihilistic quotes.

"What difference is there between he who prays, and he who kills?"
-Red Dragon.

I should say that's a pretty bad burn on religion.

Did Square always have such horribly emo writing in their games?

Eh, I'm pretty religious about following RPG naming. Although, I do change stuff up in FF7. I typically rename Barrett Mr. T, and I ALWAYS rename Cait Sith, "Cat Shit", because I hate the stupid fuck. Other than that the only other two that I rename is the main character in FF5 (cuz "Butz" sucks), and Garnet's secondary name in FF9. I got into naming her "Khatru" (after a Yes song) because I thought it fit her, somehow, and I've always ran with it ever since... "Dagger" just doesn't fit.

What's so emo about that?

Sounds more philosophical to me.

"A horse's weiner!? Now that's dangerous!"

Can't go wrong with Laharl when it comes to funny game quotes.

I'm pretty sure it was just "horse weiner," e.g., sausage made out of horse; not a horse's schlong.

Yes. Why do you think all the MTV kids make fun of FF?

I'll agree to that, though, it really sounds like she's saying that the religious are no better than murderers, that everything is pointless, and when you take it in that context, it certainly sounds pretty emo, although in it's proper context, it's more nihilistic and disdainful than anything.
