I finished AI3 a few days ago.  It was fun at first, but became repetitive as hell near the end.  More dungeons and blades would definitely have helped.

Unfortunately I think the way they set up the quests was the biggest problem.           Adding elements here and there wouldn't do much to rectify the situation.

Just having 5 dungeons isn't that bad.  On the plus side, you learn where everything is rather quickly.  You'd think with only 5 dungeons, the game would be short, but it isn't.  I'm in the last chapter and I'm about 40hrs in.  I'm trying to do all the quests though.

Yeah, adding more blades would have definitely helped.

I played through the Japanese version of this game. Way too simplistic, and way too easy. Not really my cup of tea, though I find many characters especially hilarious.

"I felt a nameless dread. Well, there probably is a long German name for it, like Geschpooklichkeit or something, but I don't speak German. Anyway, it's a dread that nobody knows the name for, like those little square plastic gizmos that close your bread bags. I don't know the name for those either."
