1up rumor: REAL, console PE3 still coming

I knew it went by another name, so I dug up Gast's story and hey, it's called the 3rd Birthday. Could that really just be a cellphone sidegame to a real PE3 for consoles? Namewise, it seems likely to me.

Except... The Qmann stuff /are/ rumors. I've known this when I subscribed years ago. While not always reliable obviously (Yeah, don't think that KOS-MOS PS3 game's going to appear, ever), it seems that there's a good chance the rumor may be real. Anyways, the ZoE3 was, in fact, saying it's /not/ ZoE3, just that Hideo Kojima's got something up his sleeve for the PS3. That's not farfetched, and personally after Snatcher I really want to see him pull off something new and completely independent of his other stuff. Epic Games, well, they're not owned by Microsoft or anything, it doesn't seem impossible they'll plan a PS3 exclusive. And... Well, I don't buy the PS2 Wii Remote thing. Nevertheless, the rumors are pretty heavy, so that might not be so far fetched.

I think with the fact the Cellphone game isn't explicitly called PE3, and that the western audience is huge, it's completely and utterly nonsensical to keep the game to a platform that effectively makes it exclusive to Japan, and so it seems a strong possibility that there's a real console PE3.

Kojima has already expressed interest in his next ventures being a Wii or 360 game, so you never know what will come up with next.

This is just silly anyways, lets hope for the best I suppose. We'll at least see a Parasite Eve Port to the PSP I'm sure.

... I'd prefer a PSP downloadable, since that'd be playable on the PS3 and probably run better, but whatever, as long as the game's accessible and playable. I never did play it.

Take Resident Evil 4, add some magic and an XP system, throw on some state-of-the-art visuals, and throw in Aya Brea and the Parasite Eve name?  I'd buy it.

Never played the second one, but the first was a blast. Played through it twice (once legit and the second with ridiculously overpowered Gameshark cheatz).

I'd be excited if that were true, but it does all just seem like a rumor.
