The good news: Bill & Ted 3 has gotten the green light.

The news so bad it makes the previous news terrible: It won't have Alex Winter or Keanu Reeves. As in, no Bill & Ted.

Anybody else immediately think of Dumb and Dumberer?

Oh super.....let's

1) Make a sequel to a movie that came out SIXTEEN years ago.
2) Lets make it without the staring characters, but cheap knockoffs.
3) Have Keanu Reeves NOT star in the only movie he was a good actor in.

This makes absolutely no sense. At the end of Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey they had done just about everything they possibly could. Not to mention these movies were made during the absolute pinnacle of the butt-rock era. I just don't see the point of making a third movie, much less how it could go anywhere other than straight to video, but whatever.

What the hell kind of shit are these movie studio think tanks smoking? Really, I have nothing more to say that doesn't echo what everyone else already said, so I'll just contribute with jackassy comments in agreement.

And, yes, I agree that Keanu Reeves is a one-dimensional actor whose best performance was in Bill & Ted.

GOD DAMMIT!! The Bill & Ted movies have been favorites of mine for YEARS. I can't believe they would even CONSIDER doing another sequel without them. WORST. IDEA. EVER!
