I saw that preview thingie for it when I went to see Transformers today.  Not impressed at all.  Thing seemed like a stupid-ass Godzilla rip off with cheesier dialogue than dubbed Godzilla.  I don't get what's so cream-your-pants fantastic about it and why all of geekdom is giddy like schoolgirls over it.  

Everyone else in the theater was all like "what the fuck was that?  I'm not going to go see that garbage."  And when I saw it, I was like, "THIS is the almighty Cloverfield that internerds, geeks, and the like are all ga-ga about?  This was stupid."
