saw Inception and I'm probably gonna need to watch it again someday to completely "get it" since everything I read about it was good and stuff, so I was expecting to get it with my brain turned off.
and also watched all of sixteen candles (previously only saw bits and pieces of it) for the first time andddd this movie is a excellent example of being rated incorrectly (should be at least PG-13)
but I love John Hughes and probably going to watch breakfast club soon.

Saw "Boys From Brazil" and thought it was quite good.

It's more the age of the movie rather than incorrect rating.  People were willing to tolerate a lot more in the past.  I recently watched The Goonies again, which came out I believe the same year, and which I watched as a kid, and would today have been rated higher than it was back then.  And that is something true of many many movies from those days.

Inception is by far one of the best movies I have ever seen in my life. Leo's best performance I have ever seen. Not only the mind fuck of the year, but for me, I haven't been as excited and blown away by a movie concept since Donnie Darko. I think I may even go see it again this weekend. Definitely buying this movie the day it come out on Blu Ray (and also buying a Blu Ray player to go with it heh).

You mean like, go inside the mind of an RPG player and the entire subconscious to be populated by elves and dwarfs? :P

Lawrence of Arabia - Movie dork that I am, I had never seen this until now. Damn, this thing was long. I watched it over two nights. It was quite epic, especially for a 60's movie. Beautifully filmed. I was(and remain) confused about Lawrence, though. Not at ALL was I was expecting. He's so....effeminate. Doesn't at all seem the leader type. Hard to believe all those Arabs would actually follow him. On the whole, I enjoyed the film, but it was far from perfect.

Ninja Assassin - This was totally fun. The movie is just a series of action set pieces with some boring stuff stuck in between. The story is NOT why I wanted to see this, and the filmmakers know that. Surprisingly bloody, too. I really enjoyed it.
