Watched Into the Wild. Amazing film. Now this is the movie that should've won Best Picture.

2001: A Space Odyssey.
Pretentious shit. Gorgeous cinematography and special effects, but totally irrelevant.
Big disappointment for me. I've liked the other Kubrick films I've seen.

Lots of stuff, lately. Me and some friends had a few movie nights.
- The Fountain - Awesome, awesome movie. It's really beautiful to watch, and I'd definitely like to watch it again with greater concentration.
- 40 Year-Old Virgin - Always a fun one to watch. Not as funny the second time around, but there are still a lot of laughs in there.
- Sweeney Todd - Very entertaining film. When it first started up, and the initial song was sung, I was a little scared, but dang, by the end of the movie, it all just seemed to work so well. Every single death scene was a treat to watch, especially the ones of the two protagonists.
- Finding Nemo - Probably my favorite Pixar movie. It's way too charming.
- Spy Kids - We mainly watched this for the "Oh shitake mushrooms" quote, but we all ended up enjoying it a lot more than we thought we would. It's a horible movie, but it's so dang hilarious at the same time!
- 30 Days of Night - Pretty stupid. I couldn't take it seriously once the Bob Saget look-alike came into the picture and started sucking on necks.
I also saw 21 in the theaters. It was entertaining for the most part, but the story wasn't all that believable once Laurence Fishburn's character became prominent. The blackjack aspects of the movie were spot on, and I really dug it when the protagonists were hopping around in the casinos, but the rest of the plot was just...blah.

Spike played Star Wars I - III over the weekend.
Worst films I have ever fucking seen.
It should have been three films of Count Dooku and General Grievous killing everyone in the Galaxy. All of the other characters are shit. Direction is shit. Pacing is the worst ever. "Luke. Leia." Acting is the worst shit I have ever heard and seen. Hayden Christianson is the worst "actor" on the planet. "yes master."
George Lucas is a hack.

I completely disagree, but whatever. I don't feel like writing a novel write now... I already write enough.

The Wicker Man - with Nicholas Cage.
Had to watch it once out of morbid curiosity.
(I actually didn't mind Episode III of the prequels)

^ Uh..yeah....about 50 times. Grandma's Boy is a modern classic among my circle of friends. Also, I agree about the Star War's prequels. I never realized how truly bad they were until this weekend. Oh well, we still got the originals.
I watched 'Awakenings' last night. Really great film with De Niro and Robin Williams.

I watched it on mushrooms the first time I went to see it.
As for me? The classic "Predator".

Watched No Country for Old Men today. Movie was awesome except for the ending, which I hated with a passion. The last few movies I have watched have the left the ending to the viewers imagination and it is really starting to tick me off. Oh well, still a good movie.

Wow, Atonement was a snooze fest.
Was expecting more. Even for a rental I feel ripped off :/
Ending reminded me of MGS 2.

I can't argue with that.
The Devil's Backbone - I think this is the only good ghost movie I've seen (not counting Ghostbusters :P). It was much the same as Pan's Labyrinth, though I think that was better.
I also watched American Splendor, which was good, and 21, which wasn't bad.
