My computer still runs on Windows ME. Yes, I'm sad.

My wife's computer has Windows XP. This makes me jealous. My question is, can I install XP onto my computer using her disc?
Also, will I be able to switch between which operating system I want to use on startup, or will I have to uninstall ME?
