What better excuse could there be to flood the boards with Queen clips!

An awesome medley!

"The Prophet's Song"...live!  Jesus, it takes balls to even try that shit.

"Brighton Rock", and the greatest use of delay in the history of music.  Not the highest quality, but the point comes across.

THAT IS THE SIIIIIIIGN

"One Vision" kicks far more ass than should be allowed by law.

You'll notice that most of my links are their early days because...well, that's my favorite era of theirs.  I leave the latter days to you people. :P

Hail to the greatest vocalist in rock, if not every fucking genre.

Thanks for making this thread DR and honoring Freddie Mercury's contribution to rock. My knowledge of Queen is pretty limited (I'm more of a Zep fan) but when I saw the live "One Vision" clip it made me giggle that he said "fried chicken" at the end.

Always loved Queen, given I was practically raised on it, since my dad is also a big fan.  Cool stuff.

I thought it was weird a while back when I bought a 2-disc Greatest Hits set, and I was grooving along through the first CD, thinking "yeah - I love this song"... and then the second CD came on, and I went "wait - I don't know any of these!"  I did know some of them in the end, but I found that I'm a way bigger fan of the early stuff too.

Here's my contribution:

Can't watch it right now, but it's supposed to be Weird Al's Bohemian Polka.  Had to throw it in there. *evil grin*
