Although I like and defended this RPG, I do have to complain about the broken J-curve in difficulty it takes. For instance, there are enemies in Sphere 211 that you don't really fight. If they engage you, they just exterminate your entire party. Four blast you with a lightning spell that does 20,000 damage minimum and hits everybody. Although graphically, they are an improvement over the PINK RABBITS WITH BOXING GLOVES from SO2, it's still bullshit to be eradicated in random encounters. If I want to get my ass whipped in standard fights, Nocturne is right next to my PS2.
