Finished the Sandy past quests. Hoping that next update comes soon.
Raised the level cap of my Fellow to 70. It's pretty stupid how incredibly powerful the fellow is when you fight them and they suck so much when you actually use them.
She can dual wield too.
Some more Salvage runs, I got a group at one point that had two relic users- a Spharai MNK and a Yoichinoyumi SAM. The bow is a pretty rare sight so I decided to take some shots of it.
I just need the 15 of the body now, but that's pointless considering how some idiot keeps gouging the price of the Imperial Wootz Ingots. Meanwhile, LBC doesn't drop the stupid Tsukikazu Haidate. Hate that thing.
lolAF2.
Got the chance to do Storms of Fate, which was a lot of fun. Now I face the problem of being alone in trying to work on Shadows of the Departed and Apocalypse Nigh. Dunno if I can convince anyone to help me with the latter, since I can solo the former given a couple of weeks.

Got the last Wings medal, and am working on WHM at the moment. Anniversary Ring will help for those last few levels I figure.
We still need to do those BCNMs. This transition to my new home is taking forever.

Yeah, new anniversary ring is here. Make sure to get your 10 mog bonanza marbles, too.
I just realized, I need to buy 10 marbles for my mule, too. Who knows, I might win on my mule. I'd probably end up making my mule my main if I won something from rank 1 or rank 2. Velocious Belt or Defending Ring? Yes, please.

There is no way that defending ring is the thing of choice on the rank 1 prizes. Final decision would be up to you of course, but I think as far as prizes go:
1. Gil. With the amount of people entering it could easily reach 100 million gil or in that ballpark. It could be bit less or a bit more, but I think that's a good estimate. You can easily buy all sorts of things with that kind of gil from LSs, if you are unwilling to camp them. I'm not sure if defending ring is one of them, but eh...
Only thing on that list that could possibly justify itself is Futsuno Mitama, IMO, which is even rarer than Amanomurakumo.
2. Actually V. Belt may be a good choice. As far as I know Speed Belts run about 30M, and what you choose is depending entirely on what the gil prize ends up being.
3. I think Hauteclaire and Homam Cosciales would both catch your interest if you got this on your main.
Personally if I won on a mule, I'd just take the gil and forget it, heh.

I was aiming for some nerd rage to occur on the mule thing on account of the progress I've made, since I'm infamous for starting over, but oh well.
In reality, I would easily take the gil if my mule were involved.

There won't be as many mules running around as there were last year. With the mule having to of been created before April 8th in order to take part in the lottery. Pretty sure the level 5 min is still in place too. *Looks forward to losing again this year*
I find it interesting how they made the gil rewards this year based off how many marbles are sold.

They're charging double for marbles this year, which is pretty lame.
ZNMs are mean to me. I'm probably the most enthusiastic of my whole LS and I constantly try to pop NMs, but they consistently drop crap for me (Your trig, you choose 1 drop). Good thing Stage 4 is pretty much guaranteed a good drop or two, so I hope that will bring me something good.
Spammed the Brygid quest for a couple subligars I had lying around.
Sea actually dropped something, but I can't get it because I need to do In the Name of Science. Guess I should go get a junk obi...
After months of farming, saving, and selling some of my most prized items (I sold my Osode, Arhat's +1 pieces and my SH+1), I have succeeded in obtaining my dream body armor:
Leave you off with some random fun with BST NMs:

After abandoning FFXI some time ago, I recently started a new game. I'm a level 17 Warrior, and I just recently bought myself a Great Axe. (same name, same type) But I noticed that the attack power went from the 60s to the high 20s. (I had previously had a Royal sword or something.) My question is, why did the attack power go down, if the damage difference is by 20. (The sword had 10 damage and the Great Axe had 30 damage; granted, the Delay number is high on the Great Axe.)
Another question is, do you think I should be level grinding at West Ronfaure until I reach level 20, or perhaps I should endure at the Valkurm Dunes? The Great Axe doesn't seem to be giving me that big of an attack power, is this because I have to raise its weapon skill up considerably?

Check your combat skill levels, that's very likely the reason. Every level of skill gives you about 1 accuracy and 1 attack- I'm sure you should notice that your critical hits do lots of damage. STR and weapon DMG generally will determine your max damage out of a weapon, but your attack determines where in that range you're going to be usually hitting for.
DMG on weapons actually don't have a direct effect on your attack number (Though as a warrior you will have more attack from GAX eventually because of your natural higher skill in GAX). DMG is a completely different part of the damage equation, but do know that it does effect it greatly.
Ronfaure will not take you to level 20- I would suggest soloing in La Thiene eventually or going to Valkurm Dunes in a PT. Keep in mind that your weapon skills can and will fall behind if all you ever fight are Easy Prey and Decent Challenge enemies, so partying every once in a while would be a good idea. I think soloing in La THiene while waiting for a party might be a good idea.
When you hit level 18, be sure to hit one of us up (If you're on Leviathan that is) and we can get you your subjob items.

New Star Onions album is awesome, FYI. The Gustaberg track is definitely my favorite, by far.

I'm now a level 30 Warrior / level 10 Monk. I think I'm going to get the Ninja job next, then use the Sneak and Invisible abilities during the Paladin job quest, in order to get it. At any rate, I'm not looking forward to grinding a Paladin job all the way to level 45, since that's what I need to reach in order to do my next mission.
