This thread is to satisfy my curiosity. Are you guys going to buy Guitar Hero III, Rock Band, or Both?

I'd love both, but realistically? GHIII.

Will most likely be getting both. GH3 for the PS2, since I already have a guitar and stuff for that, and Rock Band for the Xbox360.

Rock Band.
I was unimpressed with GH3 at E3.

I totally would buy them both, if I had the cash :\

I'd love both but probably just GH3....if that. X-mas is coming so money is going to be tight for the next few months. Maybe i'll recieve one as a gift..hopefully. I know for sure though that I won't have the $170 for Rock Band any time soon.

My wife and I love music games - karaoke, DDR, guitar, drum, maracas (a thousand points to anyone who knows what I'm talking about and a million if you've actually played it)... we'll probably get GH3 first, and Rock Band later.

Mmmm.. drums. I used to play Drummania incessantly back when I was in college at the school arcade. I need to look into Rock Band.

Both. If I could only choose one it'd be an easy Rock Band, but since I'll be in the market for a second 360 guitar (from Guitar Hero 3) and X-mas is just around the corner (Rock Band Bundle), I'm going to get both. GH3 after RB (like, 2-4 months after), but eventually I shall own both.

Why isn't there a neither option?

Apparently you don't have a soul or some nonsense if you skip them.
... I would like to get a GH game sometime, but probably not GHIII. I'd rather get Rock Band between those two simply to support the guys that started the series, plus Activision making complete imbeciles out of themselves. Oh, and I think charging $50 for what is more or less an expansion is pretty lame.

Another thing against GH3 is the art style. They completely butchered the graphics of the previous two games, and all of the characters are ugly as shit (especially the new Izzy Sparks).

1) I live in S. Korea, and I can't get them.
2) I refuse to pay $100-$150 for a computer version of Simon.

Simon is actually more difficult, if you think about it, as the patterns change every time while the RB/GHIII ones are static.
