Oh, my heck - I just realized: the reason I prefer games where I control the entire party is because I suck!  That's probably why I prefer food like mac & cheese - I suck at eating.

Did this thread really need trolling?  The kind of games you like doesn't correlate to the amount of skill you have.  It is true that you'll probably be better at games you like than at games you don't like as much, but whether you're not as good because you don't like them or you don't like them because you're not as good at them is a "chicken or the egg" question.
