I never got to play the first one, but I've always been a fan of anything like Diablo or Rogue.  Gotta track the first one down.

As much as I hate to say, seeing your avatar is the lead character, but I heard the game got less than favourable reviews (to each his own, mind you), so I'm kind of amazed that a sequel is in the works.

No need to feel guilty about stating what we both know to be a fact. I read those reviews too. Hell, one of them's on this very site.

I don't know the exact sales numbers, but I'm pretty sure that Izuna sold at least as well as most Atlus games, so I'm not terribly surprised that there's a sequel.
